Slow Wine 2027, here are all the bottles

There are 173 Bottiglie di Slow Wine 2027, 15 fewer than last year. There are 44 companies that earn the recognition in the seventeenth edition.

But what is a Bottle for Slow Wine?

The Bottiglia is the symbol awarded to wineries whose wines presented at tasting have demonstrated excellent quality.

In particular, this one from Cantrina winery, a company from Bedizzole (BS), is a very simple pink, as if just blooming, very faint, a watercoloured carmine. It somehow announces the barely suffused scents of small, ripening red fruits, slow notes of fresh flowers and embraces some very evanescent scents that briefly touch me. This is a pink Valtènesi, made only from Groppello grapes.

Qualcuno gioca in casa, come Manuele Meneghini, sommelier di Lido 84 a Gardone Riviera: «Il mio vino per le feste è Sole di Dario dell'azienda Cantrina, di Bedizzole in Valtènesi. E un blend di Sauvignon, Semillon e Riesling in cui i profumi di albicocca, dattero e agrumi si fondono alle note speziate, che creano la suggestione di un viaggio verso luoghi lontani e si elevano in un sorso di grande freschezza ed equilibrio gustativo. E un vino a cui sono particolarmente legato, che possiede per me il potere evocativo della tavola imbandita e del calore umano».

We have known Cristina Inganni for many years, practically since the beginning of her adventure in the world of wine; she had been introduced to us by a producer friend in Lugana and so we have been able to taste her wines several times over the years.
