The harvest 2018 has started!

The season is favorable to a plentiful production, the grape is wonderful! See the video of the harvest. We are particularly proud because for the first time Lorenzo, our 17-years-old son, decided to help us, at least until he will come back to school. Time flies, it seems like only yesterday when as a child he put his small hands between grapes and filled his mouth with them. Nowadays he gathers grapes, cases and works hard in order to take home the harvest. Cristina

Spring is in its prime and I like to give you a little glimpse of the vineyard at this season. As you can see from the photographs, the vines are already in full bloom and, something that we in the industry take somewhat for granted, I wonder how many people have ever noticed the rare beauty of the flowering vines and thus paused to admire them.

After Vinitaly

After a break of a few years, I returned to Vinitaly, at the Consorzio Valtènesi stand. I must say that I did this without a commercial approach, I made an investment in terms of public relations and networking. Practically my entire network of relations in the sector is there, so it was a good opportunity to catch up and strengthen the relationship.

Back from Prowein

I have just returned from Prowein, which was a good experience: I will measure the commercial results over time, but in terms of contacts and quality of contacts it was a success. The protagonist was Groppello, but it was the pacesetter for the other wines. Now to work in Cantrina!
