Le Donne del Vino Association: one year as Lombardy Delegate

posted on 16 March 2014
I recently concluded my experience as Lombardy Delegate of the National Association Le Donne del Vino and I would like to share with you some thoughts on what it means to make a commitment to association when you have direct responsibility in a company like Cantrina. 2013 was a year full of initiatives for the Regional Delegation: we took part in the 50th anniversary celebration of Coin in Milan by offering our products for tasting, we attended Italia in Rosa in Moniga del Garda, we managed to organise very quickly the wonderful 25th anniversary party for the Lombardy Delegation, and on this occasion we helped an important non-profit organisation and found an important partnership that will be repeated for future events. We produced the folder representing our region and members, opened the Facebook page... and I am certainly forgetting something. What have I realised after one year? Association commitment can really give a lot, but there are times when a producer feels the need to dedicate himself completely to his mission. I will certainly still be supportive of the new Delegate, but many commitments are coming up, such as Cantrina's presence at Prowein.

Back from Prowein

I have just returned from Prowein, which was a good experience: I will measure the commercial results over time, but in terms of contacts and quality of contacts it was a success. The protagonist was Groppello, but it was the pacesetter for the other wines. Now to work in Cantrina!

ProWein: the first day has passed

Between the desperate search for an internet connection and the curiosity of a completely new trade fair for us, the first day of ProWein passed. I have avoided following the fashion of the moment, so no selfie, in the photo you can see the layout of the Merum stand where we are placed.

Nepomuk Thursday
