At the winegrowers' market, one has the opportunity to get to know even the smallest and almost unknown wine producer...
posted on 2 December 2013On Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December, the third edition of the Independent Winegrowers' Market (FIVI).
The impression is that the number of producers present has increased, as has the number of visitors. For us, it is not so much important to participate in order to make a sale for its own sake, but to strengthen the spirit of belonging to the association.
The spirit that animates us is mutual solidarity and unity of purpose in order to protect our rights as winegrowers with the “higher” institutions, without intermediaries or “puppets” who often have no knowledge of our problems in the sector!
The Wine Market is a common moment for us producers to meet and compare notes, and for visitors it can be a great and valid alternative for getting to know and experience this world, thanks to direct contact with the producer, without intermediaries and in a much more informal way than other events in the sector. And why not? It can also be a valid alternative to the now prohibitively busy and chaotic Vinitaly!!!
