The first 20 years of Cantrina - Bartù

Eight organically cultivated hectares express wines of great character. The Lombard winery, founded by Dario Dattoli, continues on the road to quality. Azienda Agricola Cantrina, the small winery nestled in the moraine hills in the village of the same name near Bedizzole (Bs), is the realisation of the dream of its founder, Dario Dattoli. Ever since the early 1990s, Dattoli had courageously dedicated himself to the production of a few (but well-kept) bottles destined for self-consumption in his own restaurants and premises: it was 1999 when, amidst a thousand fears, much enthusiasm and a pinch of recklessness, it was decided to pursue the project with investment, passion and professionalism. Slow Wine 2027, here are all the bottles

There are 173 Slow Wine 2027 Bottles, 15 fewer than last year. There are 44 wineries that have earned this recognition in the seventeenth edition. But what is a Bottle in Slow Wine? The Bottle is the symbol assigned to wineries whose wines presented for tasting have expressed excellent quality.

The Mediterranean flavours of Lower Garda

(...) Groppello, a red wine for fish and aperitifs. Cristina Inganni never imagined that she would become a winemaker while attending the Brera Academy in Milan, nor that she would come to live in Cantrina, a small hamlet in the municipality of Bedizzole whose profile dominates the vineyards. She did so to carry on the dream of her first husband, who died prematurely, who had planted the first vines (now nine hectares) of the Azienda Agricola Cantrina, inspired by French production and maintaining a radical idea of absolute quality. Cristina carries it on today together with Diego Lavo, her partner and second husband. Their Riviera del Garda Classico Groppello DOC (13 €) is a wine that enhances the terroir: gentle and sinuous, it is also appreciated with fish. In summer it becomes a cool aperitif.
