Raise your glasses to Merlot - Lombardy on the table

Lombardia in Tavola published an article on the Merlot d'Italia exhibition in which Azienda Agricola Cantrina won the best Merlot d'Italia award, here are the highlights: (...) Attentive, informed, ready for confrontation and willing to be involved. But above all happy to have had the opportunity to taste Merlot in all its possible versions. Many visitors and enthusiasts came to Aldeno (TN) for the “Merlot d'Italia” wine event. A total of 5,000 plus people attended the Wine Theatre, as the parterre in Aldeno was called. I met Cristina, the owner of Azienda Agricola Cantrina, who guided me through a tasting of all her wines. It was an incredible experience, not only for the territory, but also to get to know the personality of Cantrina.

Manhattan and Boston toast with Cantrina's signature Valtènesi: the Bedizzole winery recently signed an agreement that brought its share of US sales to 60% of total business 2024 exports. We have re-established contact with an importer we have known for 25 years, but who has changed strategy by concentrating on very small companies able to offer products from indigenous grape varieties.
