Merlot and lake air purity and power - Echo of Berganmo

Eco di Bergamo describes Azienda Agricola Cantrina's Nepomuceno wine in an article, and here are the most important points: MERLOT AND LAKE AIR PURITY AND POWER. (...) A pure Merlot of unusual power (15 degrees alcohol and a lot of density) but also perfectly balanced, harmonious and even flowing in spite of the analytical data. And Nepomuceno 2003 (from San Giovanni Nepomuceno) from Cantrina di Bedizzole in the Brescia area, a small winery run with extraordinary passion by Cristina Inganni. (...)

Proudly Italian Bordeaux - Giornale di Brescia

And the Brescians? Few but they were there and they did not disfigure at all. The rather scattered presentation of wines did not allow us to find them all. Presenting their products, however, were Cristina Inganni with her award-winning Nepomuceno and Giovanna Prandini with the brand new Leonatus. Both are pure Merlot. Fratelli Berlucchi, represented by oenologist Casare Ferrari, was there with Casa delle colonne (where the Cabernet is only Franc), but next to it we found a Deressi from Majolini that has boundless elegance and a Nero d'Ombra from Mirabella that is just as elegant, but far too austere. The wineries produce very little of it and therefore speak little of it. A little more is Barone Pizzini's San Carlo while again very little is San Giovanni's Cabernet Montezalto.

Cantrina makes it three at the “Merlot d'Italia” - Brescia Oggi

Cantrina triumphs again at Aldeno and opens up to the «autochthonous»: the Bedizzole winery, managed by Cristina Inganni with her husband Diego Lavo, won for the third consecutive time the title of «best IGT label of previous vintages» at the Mostra dei Merlot d'Italia in Aldeno (Tn), an increasingly prestigious event dedicated exclusively to this prestigious grape variety. The award went to «Nepomuceno 2004», the flagship label of this small winery that for years has been distinguishing itself for a very special approach to the viticulture of the area, focused above all on the nuances and characteristics that the unique Valtenesi terroir can offer to the «repertoire» of great international wines.

Second participation and second victory: Nepomuceno from Cantrina, a small winery run by Cristina Inganni with her husband Diego Lavo in Bedizzole, in the Brescian hinterland of Lake Garda, has once again asserted itself in the competition of the greatest Merlots of Italy. With the success obtained with the Benaco Bresciano Nepomuceno 2003 at the fifth edition of the national exhibition of the Merlot d'Italia of Aldeno, in the Province of Trento,Cantrina has repeated the prestigious result already obtained two years ago with the 2001 vintage, imposing itself in the category of Merlot Igt of the vintages prior to 2005.
