The Bagoss, the Heretic and the Hamburger - Paperogiallo.net

Stefano Bonilli in his blog recounts a dinner at Villa Fiordaliso where he tasted Eretico: here are the most important points: (...) The other evening at dinner by the lake, a warm and pleasant evening, so much so that we were eating outside, some Bagoss and a bottle of Eretico from the Cantrina winery arrived on the table. It is a pinot noir raisin wine... ugh, a pinot noir raisin wine? But yes, a wine, pinot noir, which certainly doesn't have the image of a raisin wine and which makes a great impression because you expect it to be sweet, but instead... it has residual sugar, no doubt about it, but it is really a great wine-wine with a dark violet colour that will be even better as it matures. The Villa Fiordaliso sommelier, a good man, who chooses his wines one by one and knows how to tell without tediousness, brought out the Eretico to take us on unusual journeys and he really nailed it.

Raise your glasses to Merlot - Lombardy on the table

posted on 12 December 2007
With the success obtained with the Benaco Bresciano Nepomuceno 2003, in particular, the Cantrina winery has repeated the prestigious result already achieved two years ago with the wine from the 2001 harvest. Lombardy, and in particular the Garda area, is therefore among the most suitable areas for Merlot, and Cantrina proves this. “From the outset,” said Cristina Inganni of the Cantrina winery, "we have been oriented towards the production of medium and long ageing wines based on international wines. The choice may appear counter to the Gardesana tradition, but we believe that this can be a personal opportunity to express the idea of territory, of terroir, given that the same grape variety offers extremely different results in situations that are geographically and culturally distant".

A pure Merlot of unprecedented power (15° alcohol and plenty of density) but also perfectly balanced, harmonious and even flowing in spite of the analytical data. And Nepomuceno 2003 (from San Giovanni Nepomuceno) from Cantrina di Bedizzole in the Brescia area, a small winery run with extraordinary passion by Cristina Inganni.

I Vigneti della Cantrina - Informa Cibo

The Azienda Agricola “Cantrina” managed, in the first person, by Crìstina Inganni has succeeded in making this synthesis, dedicating its production to the finest crus of a historic wine house, desired by Dario Dattoli, a lover of French wines, “transferred” to the gentle hills of Lake Garda. Upon the untimely death of the young entrepreneur Dario Dattoli (1998), his young wife Cristina Inganni, a set designer by profession in Milan (Brera Academy) decided to continue the project with the collaboration of Diego Lavo, an expert in the field of agriculture and wine production, assisted by the Zynè oenological team.
