Seven years have passed since the day I met Cristina Inganni of the ‘La Cantrina’ farm in Bedizzole, in the province of Brescia. I came to her following one of the many pieces of advice that guided my life at that time. A succession of stages that led me to get to know and write stories of people connected to the land. An exciting journey that, at a slower pace and with a different awareness, is still going on today. I still remember the fateful phrase that closed each of my meetings: “Cinzia, you have to know...” It was thanks to one of these pieces of advice that one summer morning I arrived at her place.
