Dessert wine – sweet Vino da Tavola 2012

GRAPE VARIETIES: Sauvignon, Semillon, Riesling

DESCRIPTION: A golden yellow colour with amber highlights. Intense and persistent scent that are reminiscent of apricots, jam, honey, nuts and candied fruit. The flavour confirms the sensations perceived on the nose and herb-like hints give added complexity.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Rich dark chocolate, nuts, dry pastries in general and excellent with blue or strongly flavoured cheeses.

ORIGIN: 0,30 ha facing east (at an altitude of 190 m above sea level) in the small vineyard next to the country house in the hamlet of Cantrina near Bedizzole. Planted in 1991 with a density of 5.000 vines per hectare, with guyot trained vines. Medium deep, sub-alkaline Red, sub-alkaline soils, consisting mainly of red clay.



VINIFICATION: After a careful selection of the bunches, the grapes were dried for about 3 months in crates before being pressed in a pneumatic press. The must was left to clarify and then fermented in 100% new French oak barriques, where it remained for a total of 24 months.

ANALYTICAL DATA: Alcohol 12,70%, Residual Sugar 190 g/l, Acidity 7,25 g/l .

TOTAL PRODUCTION: 1.290 bottles from 375 cl.
